Enhancing your hairs natural beauty in the comfort of your own home

Hello again! Its been a while since I posted and I am truly sorry. There is a reason behind my disappearance, I've been slammed with clients, yay! But, now that summer is coming, I think its important to talk about summer haircare. As I'm sure you know, the heat, humidity, sun, chlorine and everything else that goes along with summer can effect your hair. The good news is, I can help you with that. The answer is very simple... using the correct PRODUCTS! Now, I will start off by saying, this is not a sales pitch, I'm simply just telling you the tips and tricks I've found to be the best over the all years Ive spent working with hair. Hopefully, within the near future I will have my, "go to products" to purchase on my website for easy access. Until then, I recommend buying any and all of your haircare products at a salon. Not at Harmons, Not at CVS, Not at Wal-Mart and DEFIANTLY not from Amazon!!! To start off, lets talk about build up. Getting your hair wet just ONE TIME in a pool will create a build up on your hair! Chlorine coats the hair creating a barrier that does not allow moisture to get into the hair strand, therefor, the conditioner can not penetrate into the hair. In turn this will cause dryness and breakage. YIKES! The good news, I have a simple solution to fix that, clarifying shampoo. My personal favorite is Life Guard by Fairy Tales. Yes, this was designed as a children's shampoo but it is also safe for color treated hair! Using this shampoo 1-2 times a week (depending how often you are in a pool) will make a noticeable difference. This shampoo is very gentle, yet effective. Another great product I like to use is, DevaCurl's Build up Buster. This is a micellar water cleaning serum that will remove any residue or build up on your hair, and it is 100% Sulfate, Paraben and Silicon Free. Using either one of these products just once a week will keep your hair clean from anything that may be causing dryness and breakage.
I hope this is helpful, next time Ill go into what conditions I recommend and why.
Until then,
sending you All my love,
Dakota

Hello internet world! This is the first time I'm blogging and I'm not 100% sure of what I will be blogging about. What I do know is it will be about all things related to beauty. I'm defianitely going to spend a lot of time talking about hair (obviously) but I also want to venture out to other areas in the beauty industry. As time goes by I will be trying new things like products and services. All things I try I will be reporting back on here to give my opinion and feedback on my experience. Until then, stay tuned and sign up for my mailing list so you can be the first to know when I post my next blog!!!
All my love,
Dakota
